TurboTax becomes Gemini's tax button.
You kept your signers on tax returns alone, where Intuit is best. Meanwhile, the labs' agents learn to do everything else.
Intuit is still the best at taxes and books. Inside Gemini, it's what runs when someone says 'do my taxes.'
The Buyer: Google offers 25% over market. We want the e-file authorization and 39 million filers.
The Buyer: Refunds will still arrive. The thank-you note goes to Gemini.
Outcome: Lost as a feature
You held taxes and books while the labs' agents took the rest of a family's money. The best tax filer became a button in Gemini.
